The Historical Public is an Art History Magazine that refreshes articles and artworks by placing them into modern Editorial Design. The article is called “Painting the Origins of Art,” and not only did I want to clip the artworks and frame them around the text, the real challenge was maintaining a full-frame image of the original artwork. In addition to the cover design and material experimentation, the final mockups are a simple magazine.
